Korean Decoration Short Course

We had a 2-day Short Course on Korean Decoration with Chef Annisaa, Gold Medalist & The Best Of Dress The Cake At The 4th La Cuisine Competition 2022.


On the first day: 3D Carving Character “Christmas with Rudolph” (Sacher Sponge Cake with Cranberry Ganache), we learnt:

1. Cake carving & stacking technique

2. Colour mixing technique with fresh cream

3. How to get the perfect consistency of whipped cream for various application

4. How to turn any character into real cakes


On the second day: Cake painting “Snowy Winter Night” (Red Velvet Sponge Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting), we learnt:

1. How to master the skill of cake painting

2. Stacking technique

3. The secret of achieving perfect buttercream consistency for painting cakes

4. The technique of mixing colours with buttercream.


Participants were provided with premium ingredients, certificate, apron, and a recipe book each. They are also given 1 product each to take home.


This cake decorating class did not involve baking activities, but each participant were provided with the recipes.
