APCA International

The Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts (APCA) is a renowned organisation of professional pastry and culinary schools in Asia which started in Malaysia in 2010.


We incorporate state-of-the-art equipment and innovative techniques into our curriculum to teach the arts, sciences, and methods required to excel in the food industry. We take pride in offering a remarkable 1:12* chef-to-student ratio, ensuring each student receives ample one-on-one attention.

*1:12 for culinary, 1:14 for pastry.

We also offer personal instruction and hands-on training from world-class chef instructors in a professional setting. The visiting faculty comprises a large number of Master Chefs, including MOF recipients, World Champions, Master Chocolatiers, and Master Bakers.

 

The academy guarantees individual attention to each student’s career goals from the first class to the development of top-notch skills. The academy also encourages students to maintain a robust alumni network throughout their careers.

• Highly reputable international school that has centres in five Asian countries.

• APCA Indonesia maintains a low student-to-Chef ratio of 1:12 per class for culinary and 1:14 per class for pastry, ensuring a personalised learning experience.
• The program emphasises complete hands-on training, with each student responsible for making their own products.
• Students can expect 40 hours of training per week, totaling 1,440 hours of practical training over the 9-month programme.
• APCA Indonesia boasts award-winning chefs who have represented both national and international competitions.
• Additionally, the school regularly welcomes visiting faculty from Malaysia who are experts in their field.
• Internship opportunities are available with top hotel brands in Jakarta.
• Upon completion, students can look forward to job placements with five-star hotels, fine dining restaurants, pastry and bakeries.
• The Advanced Diploma Programme takes only 9 months to complete.
